Foodland's Shop for Higher Education
Shop for Higher Education will award (100) $2,000 college scholarships to deserving high school seniors across the state. Customers will be asked to support the school of their choice to help it earn scholarships. Once the program begins, customers will be asked to designate their points earned with their Maika’i card to support their favorite high school. The more points earned, the more scholarships a school will receive.We are committed to continuing our support of Hawaii’s schools and students. Through this effort, we hope to make a positive impact on the lives of 100 college bound students in Hawaii.

Recycle Ink Cartridges, Toners and Cell Phones
Bring in you old ink cartridges, toners and cell phones for recycling. Help us keep these items out of our landfills and support our school. If you own or work at a business that would like to help Kula with this effort, please contact Michelle Harrington at 823-8051.
Recycle Glass, Plastic and Aluminum Cans
Kula collects the following materials at the Intermediate & High School campus for recycling: Glass, plastic bottles and aluminum cans. With help from Garden Island Recycling and community volunteer, Carrie Souza, the school receives a reimbursement on every large green container it fills. The collection bin is located on the Kula Intermediate & High campus, on the right when you enter the driveway. We ask the school community to please separate the glass, plastic and aluminum in plastic bags prior to placing these items in the container.
Join PhotoMax
Kula School is excited to announce our connection to PhotoMax, an online photo service for preserving, organizing and sharing photos. Sharing our school photos through PhotoMax is a fun and easy way to build community and earn money for the school. You can upload your photos from your computer to the shared site or bring in your photo card to the school and we will do it for you. From these photos you/we can make yearbooks, t-shirts, mugs, posters, prints and more! It is very user-friendly, very high quality and reasonably priced. On top of that, Kula will make a percentage of all sales and referrals. Sign up today!
